The training of Mord-Sith
The training of a Mord-Sith lasts for years. Everything done to a pet, is done to a Mord-Sith a thousand times over.
A Mord-Sith must know her Agiel better than she knows herself.
Usually the trainer takes his Mord-Sith as mate at 15, after he trains her at the start of about 12.
A Mord-Sith is trained until about 18.
The Agiel she is trained with will be her Agiel as a Mord-Sith.
A Mord-Sith lives for nothing but to use it.
They are carefully selected, as young girls.
Those chosen to be Mord-Sith are the most gentle, the most kindhearted, that can be found.
It is said that the deepest cruelty comes from the deepest caring.
All of D'Hara is searched, and each year only about a half dozen are chosen.
A Mord-Sith is broken three times:
The first is the way a Mord-Sith would break her own pet, to break the spirit.
The second is to break their empathy. To do it, the girl must watch her trainer break her mother,
and make the mother his pet, and watch him hurt her until she dies.
The third is to break the girl of her fear of hurting another, to make them enjoy giving pain.
To do it, the girl must break her father, under the guidance of her
trainer, and make him her pet, and keep hurting him until she kills him.
The more kindhearted a girl is, the better Mord-Sith she makes, but it makes it harder to break her the second and third time.
Quotes:
"People admire the characters. I don't think anyone admires the concept. Well, maybe a few individuals with heavy S&M preferences. But, seriously, people like how rich the characters have been created." - Jaoman, 08/30/04
"Then you realize that the way Mord-Sith once were was dependent of what they were before they were tortured. They were once the most innocent, the best of the best most pure little girls. Their innocence and kindness was used against them to make them the best of the best at torture. Richard has a way of helping return to that somewhat.
While I personally am not a huge fan of torture, if you are going to create characters for the purpose of torturing others you might as well create the best. I think that is what the Mord-Sith are, the best." - S.M.I.L.E., 08/31/04
"Also remember that there will be no more additional Mord Sith trained. Cara and her sisters are the last of their kind. Though, I'm sure it will be continued, just not in such a horrid way. I.E no killing of the parents, being beaten for years, etc....." - The Mountain, 08/31/04
