Although , I'd like to tell you more about the National Summer Tour, well all details anyhow; unfortunately I can't. The thing I will tell you is an issue that I have about
going up north, I wonder if this is true for all places located " up north",but the area that I inhabit is not "up north",but whenever I've had to go to camp ( which I do not like btw) or elsewhere than my own area ( basically go anywhere north) the water contains more sulphur and thus = " eggy water."  Ughhh it's disgusting, I was in a hotel room and turned on the faucet and was unplesantly surprised by the noxious odors that ensued.
"EWwww ", I proclaimed, " it's eggy water!! ahhhhh!"  What a horrible situation, when I thought that I had to brush my teeth using this water I cringed.  Later on at a restaurant
for drinks I usually take a water ( it saves you a lot to only drink water, you know!) and I had completely forgotten about the eggy water situation and when the waitress brought the drinks and I began to sip a mortified look came over my face.  " Shit!" I thought..
I couldn't believe I had forgotten.  The next time round I saw the waitress I ordered a rootbeer, but that didn't turn out much better either. Fountain drinks of course.. blah.. using the same eggy water to add to the syrup, plus the ice cubes!!! Ahhhh!! it was a horrible curse.   I understand that if you've lived in those types of areas all your life you probably don't taste how disgusting the water is because they're essentially " immune" to it, it's the " norm", but for an outsider like me: "BLEEEEEEECHHH!!" , is what I have to say about the water.  Gahhh.. I wish I'd had brought tons of bottled water with me.. oh if only..

I told you a little bit about my reflections in the index, but I have so much more to share with you.  The photo that's the background for the index page is of the Sphere Sculpture that stood in between the World Trade Center Towers, in a sort of open atrium plaza.
For one to see how that despite the major destruction that went on all around it, it has for the most part stayed intact.  It's a symbol of how we endure despite all the sorrow, it's hope. Personally, about 2 years prior I had been inside one of the World Trade Center's towers on the observation deck, I was with one of my close friends Yilin and my boyfriend Cyrille. Up there I had made one of those souvenir pennies, it said " I love you", we looked at the city from way up high and were in awe. Afterwards we proceeded to the plaza where the scuplture was , I was filming them talking about the sculpture and how they felt about it. I remember commenting how the structure of the towers the criss cross of the metal made a weird pattern when you looked up at them from way below.
My point is that it's part of my personal history, somewhere I had shared such wonderful moments in my life has been taken away. When I saw this picture of the sculpture again my heart jumped.  about a month ago I went back to New York City with my boyfriend and we visited Ground Zero. The feeling there was strange, it seemed surreal. I once again had tears and thought about that day. Staring across a huge empty pit and remembering what used to stand there.  I was just recently informed that the scultpure has been moved to battery park, I kind of wish that it had been able to stay in the memorial spot, but I guess it's for the best... So, this is what I wanted to share with you, I hope you got something out of it and If you ever want to know more about it or anything else related to it, please don't hesistate to contact me.  It'd be nice to talk..
