More Rats
Back to the first lot.
Lilith aka Fatboy
Lilith came from Kiwivalley, where i worked for the last few months of 2002 while also having riding lessons there.  He doesn't have a tail, apparently his mother bit it off after Ben picked him up by his tail to put him back in the cage.  His mother was/is a very unfriendly rat, she bit me twice very hard, once into an open bite i'd just received from a horse, and latched onto my flesh - yes, vampiric bloodsucking rats.  Thankfully, Lilith hasn't inherited her temperament, instead he is a big friendly blob.  When i first brought him home and he wasn't neutered yet, the girls all went totally berserk, broke out of their cage several times a night, sashayed past his cage, all went into heat, and generally acted like real hussies.  So Lilith went to the doctor, got drugged up, and got his balls chopped off - poor boy.  He coped with it just fine, and was soon running around again.  Of course, now that he wasn't smelling so manly anymore, they girls lost interest.  After a few weeks of nutsack recuperation time, Fatboy (the nickname he responds to now) moved in with the girls.  He thought it was great - especially when they're in heat, and he gets to chase them around the cage and hump them like crazy.  He's a stereotypical male - greedy for food, loves to blob in the hammock or nestle in my bra, and not too keen on smoochie cuddles - except when no one is looking.
This is Fatboy and his two daughters - before he got his nuts whacked off, he got his mother or aunt (not sure which, since they live in the same cage, look the same, and i don't know them that well) pregnant.  On 1st December 2002, she had 14 rat babies.  14.  It was quite neat to see them grow up, watch them grow from day to day, grow fur, open their eyes, start to move around, eat solid food...  I took the two pretties little girls with me just before i left Kiwivalley, and they were about 6 weeks old then, and still tiny and fluffy.  Georgie and Freda (named for Freda Stark, the naked golden dancer, and Georgina Beyer, the transsexual MP - because a few weeks earlier i mistakenly thought Georgie a little boy rat) are the cutest little buttons, really wriggly and playful, with occasional moments of cuddliness.  Freda is the most beautiful golden colour, very very pretty.  And Georgie is a handsome black rat, jetblack now that she has her adult fur, but with a gorgeous white pattern on her tummy:
About two weeks after moving to Hamiltr0n, the babies finally moved in with the big rats.  They'd met several times before on more neutral ground, and all had cuddles with me together, but now they all live together.  It took a few scuffles to sort out the new ranking order, and the babies are still very playful and can be real shitbags sometimes, pesky and annoying - but then the big girls just slap them around a bit till they settle.  All in all they get on great, all snuggled up together in hammocks or huts.  And i love them all to bits.
