EARTHWATCHERS AT WORK!!
I guess the first order of business would be to tell you what this is.  In the summer of 2002, I went away for most of July and August and Volunteered my time to an organization named Earthwatch.  Earthwatch sends volunteers (and - I won't lie - mass amounts of their money) to various places around the world to work on science research and other projects.  The projects I volunteered for were some of the most intense work I've ever done, but it was amazing in the cultures I saw and the animals I saw.  I spent one session in Barbados studying the mating and nesting habits of Damselfish.  I spent two sessions in the Bahamas with a coastal survey study(tedious work, yet greatly gratifying).  Volunteers come from around the globe but come in especially high volumes from the U.S., Britain and Hong Kong.  A link will be included at the bottom of this page to access the Earthwatch site for more information.  I encourage everyone to at least consider it.

Amazing times ahead!!
