Assassins of Gor page 197kajira (kajirae is plural)

are female gorean slaves. There are many types of slaves to be found and below are the common types. One of the traces of Earth influence on Gorean, incidentally, in this case, an influence from Latin, occurs in the singular and plural endings of certain expressions. For example, 'kajirus' is a common expression in Gorean for a male slave as is 'kajira' for a female slave. The plural for slaves considered together, both male and female, or for more than one male slave is 'kajiri'. The plural for female slaves is 'kajirae'.
Magicians of Gor pages 436-437I am fond of the slave dances. It is hard for a woman to be more beautiful than when she bath girl
dances her beauty as a slave before masters. But then a woman can be incredible beautiful in
almost all attitudes and postures…… A woman can be very beautiful simply greeting her
master, head down, at the door of his chambers, She can be very beautiful in doing so small
a thing as pouring his wine, eyes downcast, gracefully, as his slave. Perhaps she is a bit more
beautiful, however when she kneels, helplessly before you or lies piteously at your feet
supplicating you to satisfy her slave need. Perhaps she is most beautiful when she, collared
in your arms, cries out in orgasm, acknowledging you as her master.
Explorers of Gor pg. 343 (Tarl Cabot speaking)bond-maidI recalled Harold of the Tuchuks. The pools were beautiful, and yet I knew that somewhere, chained in darkness, were gangs of male slaves who cleaned them each night; and there were of course the Bath Girls of Ar, of which Nela was one, said to be the most beautiful of all Gor. Harold, as a boy, had once been a slave in the baths, those of the city of Turia, before he had escaped. He had told me that sometimes a Bath Girl, to discipline her, is thrown to the slaves in the darkness.

the term for a slave girl used in Torvaldsland, also called a girl whose belly lies under the sword. Jarl's (being raiders) won't normally enslave their women of Torvaldsland, they draw a bond maids circle and a woman can enter freely or be thrown there bound and hence made a bond maid or slave girl. Instead of a regular collar they wear a simple black band that she places her neck in, then it's formed and hammered around her neck, finally sealed with a bolt.breeding slave"The women cried out in misery. To enter the circle, if one is a female, is, by the laws of Torvaldsland, to declare oneself a bond-maid. A woman, of course, need not enter the circle of her own free will. She may, for example, be thrown within it, naked and bound. Howsoever she enters the circle, voluntarily or by force, free or secured, she emerges from it, by the laws of Torvaldsland, as a bond-maid."

male and female slaves are selected for breeding, the Master's of Gor look for certain qualities to be breed into a slave, sexual responsiveness being one quality. Passion slaves are bred "exotics", see Passion slave below.chamber slave" 'Have you had your slave wine?' asked Ina.
'Yes,' I said. This is not really a wine, or an alcoholic beverage.
It is called 'slave wine,' I think, for the amusement of the Masters. It is extremely bitter. One draught of the substance is reputed to last until the administration of an appropriate 'releaser.'" "...doses of this foul stuff are usually administered to female slaves at regular intervals, usually once or twice a year."
" 'The time to worry,' said Ina, 'is if they decide to make you a breeding slave.'
I nodded.
'You must then drink the releaser,' she said.
I nodded numbly.
'I have been told it is quite good,' she said."
"Slave wine makes sense in a slave-holding culture such as Gor. The breeding of slaves, like any sort of domestic animals, and particularly valuable ones, is carefully controlled. As a slave, of course, I could be bred, or crossed, when, and however, my master might see fit. It is the same as with other animals."
Dancer of Gor Pages 174-175Some female slaves, incidentally, have a pedigreed lineage going back through several generations of slave matings, and their masters hold the papers to prove this. It is a felony in Gorean law to forge or falsify such papers. Many Gorean believe that all women are born for the collar, and that a woman cannot be truly fulfilled as a woman until a strong man puts it on her, until she finds herself reduced to her basic femaleness at his feet. In the case of the bred female slave, of course, she has been legally and literally, in anyone's understanding, bred to the collar, and in a full commercial and economic sense, as a business speculation on the part of masters. The features most often selected for by the breeders are beauty and passion opposed to the pseudo masculine type of intelligence often found in women with large amounts of male hormones, is commonly linked, apparently genetically, with these two hitherto mentioned properties. There are few male slaves with long pedigrees. Goreans, though recognizing the legal and economic legitimacy of male slavery, do not regard it as possessing the same biological sanction as attaches to female slavery. The natural situation, in the mind of many Goreans, is that the master set/slave relation is one which ideally exists between man and woman, with the woman in the property position. Male slaves, from time to time, can receive opportunities to win their freedom, though, to be sure, usually in situations of high risk and great danger. Such opportunities are never accorded to the female slave. She is totally helpless. If she is to receive her freedom it will be fully and totally, and only, by the decision of her master.

with a coin box hooked around her neck and a triangular bells, these girls are sent out into the streets to earn coins for their Owner.display slave"It is called the Street of the Writhing Slave. It is dark and narrow, and not far from the wharves. It has its name from the fact that most renters of, and dealers in, Coin Girls in Victoria, keep their kennels on this street. The girls of the day, designated by a coiled whip pressed against their left shoulder, wearing their neck chains, with the attached bell and coin box, are sent into the streets in the late afternoon and expected to return before the nineteenth ahn. And woe to the girl who does not return with a jangling coin box on her neck chain! Some girls, once designated, and locked in their accounterments, kneeling, weeping, scratch even at the insides of the stout gates of their masters' houses, hoping to be sent into the streets early, that their chances of turning a profit for their master, and thus avoiding a beating or torture, may be enhanced. Such a lenience, however, is seldom shown to the girls, as it is against an agreement binding the entrepreneurs engaged in this trade. Sometimes the girls are sent into the streets with their hands braceleted behind their backs. Sometimes they are sent into the streets with their small hands free, that they may use them to please their master's customers. Sometimes a new girl is sent into the streets on a leash, with an older girl, that she may learn how a Coin Girl behaves.
Guardsman of Gor page 143-144I unwrapped then the object from the silk on the table. There was the sound of the metal clapper in the narrow, flattish, triangular shaped bell, the rustle of the chain and lock, the sound of the small, metal, sturdy, rectangular, locked coin box. I dangled the chain, the girl bell and the coin box before her eyes.
"Do you know what this is?" I asked her.
"Yes, Master," she whispered, frightened.
"Excellent," said Tasdryon, "excellent," and he rose from the table, letting himself out of the room with a key, by means of a side door, one which led up a flight of stairs, presumably to private compartments. He locked the door behind him. He would return shortly with the keys to her bells and collar.
"Stand. Slave," I said.
Peggy stood, beautifully.
Tasdron crouched beside her left ankle and with his key, removed the slave bells from her left ankle. Such bells are seldom put on by the slave or removed by the slave. Almost always they are put on or removed by one who is in authority over the slave. The girl seldom puts them on or removes them, rather it is hers to wear them, and as a slave, for as long or briefly as masters see fit. I then, not hurrying, lifted the heavy chain, with its bell and box, about the girl's neck. I stood behind her. I then, not yet dropping the chain about her neck, but holding it about her neck, closed the lock. she shuddered. It was on her, though she could not yet feel its weight as I had not yet released it, that it might fall against the back of her neck. Tasdron then with a key, removed his collar from her throat. I then dropped the chain about her neck. The heavy black links were obdurate against the small, soft hairs on the back or her slender, lovely neck. I then threw her hair back again, in place. I then walked about her, and before her. She who had once been Peggy Baxter, of Earth, then stood before me in the apparatus of a Gorean coin girl.

Her authority is then to the other girls as is that of the master. This tends to reduce squabbling. The first girl is usually, though not always, the favorite of the master. There is usually much competition to be first girl. First girls can be cruel and petty but, commonly, they attempt to govern with intelligence and justice. They know that another girl, at the master's whim, may become first girl, and that they themselves may then be under her almost absolute power. In my own home I often rotate the position of first girl, among my slave who were native Goreans. I never let a Earth girl slave first girl. This is fitting. Let them be always as the slaves of slaves.

carefully bred specifically for pleasure. Passion slaves are almost never freed. Passion slaves are considered to be "exotics," and like other exotics they are selectively bred to enhance and maximize a specific quality which their Master regards as pleasing, in many cases sexual responsiveness. Even the offspring of passion slaves will have the mark of the house which bred them upon their bodies. In this way they are easily identified. (*note kajirii is also used when referring to both genders of slaves at the same time)
are male slaves sometimes called thrall's in the Northern area, TorvaldslandThe slavery of males is of particular economic importance on Gor. A lot of common labor is done by male work slaves. A male unfortunate enough to be enslaved may find himself deep in a mine, chained to an oar, or entertaining crowds in an arena of combat. Male slaves are not the gender equivalent of female slaves. Although there are male passion slaves and exotics, they are rare and usually not regarded with the same value as kajira passion slaves.
Magicians of Gor pages 436-437breeding slaveMale slaves, on Gor, are not particularly valuable, and to not command high prices. Most labor is performed by free men. Most commonly, male slaves are utilized on the cargo galleys, and in the mines, and on the great farms. They also serve, frequently, as porters at the wharves. Still, perhaps they are fortunate to have their lives, even at such a price. Males captured in war, or in the seizure of cylinders or villages, or in the pillaging of caravans, are commonly slain. The female is the prize commodity in the Gorean slave markets. A high price for a male is a slaver tarsk, but even a plain wench, of low caste, provided she moves well to the touch of the auctioneer's coiled whip, will bring as much or more.
An exception to the low prices for males generally is that paid for a certified woman's slave, a handsome male, silken clad, who has been trained to tend a woman's compartments. Some of such bring a price comparable to that brought by a girl, of average loveliness. Prices, of course, tend to fluctuate with given markets and seasons. If there are few such on the market in a given time, their prices will tend to be proportionately higher. Such men tend to be sold in women's auctions, closed to free men, with the exception, of course, of the auctioneer and such personnel.

It is almost always the better looking women who are taken for slaves, and, of course, in breeding slaves, it is commonly only the most beautiful of female slaves who are used, these usually being crossed, hooded, with handsome male silk slaves, also hooded. The female offspring of these matings needless to say, are often exquisite. The male offspring, incidentally, and interestingly, to my mind, are often handsome, strong and quite masculine.

an extremely rare type of male slave. The quote below explains them quite well.thrallMost Gorean slave girls are comely, or beautiful. This is easy to understand. This is perhaps because many male silk slaves are chosen to be male silk slaves not because they are weak or like women, but because they are not; it is only that they are men, and often true men, who must serve women, totally, in the same fashion that a slave female is expected to serve a free master. To be sure, it is also true, and should be admitted in all honesty, that many male silk slaves are rather feminine; some women prefer this type, perhaps because they fear true men; from such a silk slave they need not fear that they may suddenly be turned upon, and tied, and taught to be women. Most women, however, after a time, find this type of silk slave a banality and a bore; charm and wit can be entertaining, but, in time, if not conjoined with intellect and true masculine power, they are likely to wear thin. The feminine type of male silk slave, incidentally, for better or for worse, is seldom selected for breeding purposes. Gorean slave breeders, perhaps benighted in this respect, prefer what they take to be health to what they think of as sickness, and what they take to be strength to what they deem weakness. Some female slaves, incidentally, have a pedigreed lineage going back through several generations of slave matings, and their masters hold the papers to prove this. It is a felony in Gorean law to forge or falsify such papers. A few more quotes for you"You are a slave," I said. "You are owned. You are a female. You will be forced to be a woman. If you were free, and Gorean, you might be permitted by men to remain as you are, but you are neither Gorean nor free. The Gorean man will accept no compromise on your femininity, not from a slave. She will be what he wishes, and that is a woman, fully, and his. If necessary you will be whipped or starved. You may fight your master. He will, if he wishes, permit this, to prolong the sport of your conquest, but in the end, it is you who are the slave; it is you who will lose. On Earth you had the society at your back, the result of centuries of feminization; he could not so much as speak harshly to you but you could rush away or summon magistrates; here, however, society is not at your back, but at his; it will abet him in his wishes, for you are only a slave; you will have no one to call, nowhere to run; you will be alone with him, and at his mercy. Further, he has not been conditioned with counter instinctual value sets, programmed with guilt, taught self hatred; he has been taught pride and has, in the very air he breathes, imbibed the mastery of females. These are different men. They are not Earthlings. They are Goreans. They are strong, and they are hard, and they will conquer you. For a man of Earth, you might never be a woman. For a man of Gor, I assure you, my dear, sooner or later you will be."
She looked at me with misery.
The dancer moaned, crying out, as though in agony. Still she remained impaled upon the slave pole, it's prisoner. "The Gorean master," I told the blondish girl, "commands sensuality in his female slaves."
She stared at the dancer, her eyes wide with misery. The hips of the dancer now moved, seemingly in isolation from the rest of her body, though her wrists and hands, ever so slightly moved to the music. "You cannot even move like that now." I told the blondish girl. "Yet muscles can be trained. You will be taught to move like a woman, not a puppet of wood." I grinned down at her. "You will be taught to be sensual."
Samos, with a snap of his fingers, freed the dancer from the slave pole. She moved, turning, toward us. Before us, loosening her veil at the right hip, she danced. Then she took it from her left shoulder, where it had been tucked beneath the strap of her halter. With the veil loose, covering her, holding it in her hands, she danced before us. Then she regarded us, dark eyed, over the veil; it turned about her body; then, to the misery of the blondish girl, she wafted the silk about her, immeshing her in its gossamer softness. I saw the parted lips, the eyes wide with horror, of the kneeling, harnessed girl, through the light, yellow veil; then the dancer had drawn it away from her, and turning, was again in the center of the floor.
"You will learn your womanhood," I told the blondish girl. "And I will tell you where you will learn it."
She looked up at me.
"At the feet of a master," I told her.

"Why?" I asked.
"That I might upon occasion, when permitted," said Milo, "have the opportunity to look upon this woman."
"Do you find her of interest?" I asked.
"Of course!" he said, startled.
"Then she is yours," I said.
"Mine!" he cried.
"Of course," I said. "She is only a slave, a property, a trifle, a bauble. I give her to you. Here is the key to her collar," I pressed the key into his hand. "You may break permission," I said to the slave. She flung herself to her belly before me, covering my feet with kisses.
"Thank you! Thank you, Master!" she wept.
"Your new master is there," I said, indicating Milo.
Quickly then she lay before him, kissing his feet, "I love you, Master!" she wept. "I love you!"
He reached down, awkwardly, to lift her up, but it seemed she fought him, struggling, and could not be raised higher than to her knees, and then, he desisting in amazement, she had her head down again, to his feet, in obeisance, and was kissing them. She was laughing, and crying. "I love you, Master!" she wept. "I love you! I will be hot, devoted and dutiful! I am yours! I will live to please you! I will live to love and serve you! I love you, my Master!" She kissed him again, and again, about the feet, the ankles, the sides of the calves. Then she looked up at him timidly, love bright in her eyes.
"I will try to be a good slave to you, Master!"
she said.
"Surely I must free you!" he cried.
"No!" she suddenly cried, in terror.
"No?" he said.
"No!" she said. "Please, no, my Master!"
"I do not understand," he stammered.
"I have waited too long for my slavery! It is what I have desired and craved all my life! Do not take it from me!"
"I do not understand," he said, haltingly.
"I am not a man!" she said. "I am a woman! I want to love and serve, wholly, helplessly, unquestioningly, irreservedly,
unstintingly! I want to ask nothing and to give all! I want to be possessed by you, to be yours literally, to be owned by you!"
He was speechless.
"My slavery is precious to me," she said. "Please, Master, do not take it from me!"
"What should I do?" he asked me, wildly.
Lavinia, too, kneeling before him, her arms not about his legs, looked at me, wildly, pleadingly, tears in her eyes.
"What do you want to do?" I asked him.
"Truly?" he asked.
"Yes," I said.
"She is beautiful!" he said.
"Of course," I said.
"I want her," he said.
"Subject to what limits?" I asked.
"To no limits," he said.
"Then it seems you want her wholly," I said.
"Yes," he said, "wholly."
"There is only one way to have a woman wholly," I said, and that is for her to be your slave, for you to own her."
"Please, please, Master!" wept Lavinia, looking up at Milo. "Please, Master!"
"Do with her what you wish," I said. "But she is a slave. It is the only thing which will truly fulfill her. It is the only thing which will make her truly happy."
"I do not know what to do!" he said.
"What do you want to do?" I asked.
"I want to own her!" he cried, angrily, "I want to own every inch of her, every particle of her, every bit of her, totally, every hair on her head, every mark on her body, all of her, all of her! I want to own her, completely!"
"Yes, Master! Yes, Master!" said Lavinia.
"It is what you want, and it is what she wants, too," I said.
"You understand," said he to Lavinia, "that if I make this decision, it is made."
"Yes, Master!" she said.
"Once it is made, it is made," he said.
"Yes, Master!" she said.
"And that is acceptable to you?" he asked.
"She is a slave," I said. "It makes no difference whether it is acceptable to her or not. You are the master."
He looked down at Lavinia.
"He is right, of course, Master," she said. "My wishes are nothing, as they are only the wishes of a slave. My will is nothing, as it is only the will of a slave. I am at your mercy, totally. I am in your power, completely."
"Aii!" he said, understanding this.
"Master?" she asked.
"You are my slave," he announced, accepting her.
"I love you, Master!" she wept, putting her head against his thigh.
"I own you," he said, softly, wonderingly.
"Yes, Master," she said.
"Truly," he said.
"Yes, my Master!" she said.
"It is one thing to own a woman," I said, "and it is another to have her within the bonds of an excellent mastery."
"Undoubtedly," he said.
