This is the robot "El Diablo." It
has a
track on both sides so it can run normally as well as inverted. It has
a large drum on the front as its main weapon with an auxilairy wedge at
the back. |
 |
This is another shot of the drive
train
and the drum. |
 |
"Complete Control" is a robot that
features
a pneumatic lifter with a "thumb" above it. This is used to get
underneath
other robots and grab them so they can be picked up and moved around. |
 |
My version of "Backlash" has a
large spinning
disc as its main weapon. The disc is belt driven through a motor
located
on the chasis. It spins in an upwards direction so robots are hit
upwards
when they come in contact with it. |
 |
This is a controller I created
using three
polarity switches and a pneumatic valve. This can be used to operate a
robot with two motor operated functions as well as a pneumatic one. |
 |
Another invention that had no
direct tie
to any particular Battle Bot, but rather one of my own design. It is
track
driven and has a front pneumatic lifter. |
 |
"Vlad the Impaler" was my first
robot to
have all four wheels driven by their own individual motor. It has a
front
lifter powered by two pneumatic cylinders. In the bottom picture you
can
see the drivetrain and the cylinder placement. (sorry for the bad
picture.) |
 |
This is my robot "Disector," which
has many
weapons. First of all there is a pneumatic gripper in the front used to
clamp down on or lift up other robots. It also has two independently
driven
side hammers which can hit the opponenent once locked in the jaws. |
