| 1. Just begin with a hello and tell me how your finals are going so far. |
| 2. Choose any article on the front page of today's Chicago Sun-Times online (www.suntimes.com). After you read it, summarize it: make sure you tell me the 5W's as well as your opinion. |
| 3. Now tell me about the article you plan on writing for Ms. Lydersen's newspaper. Just like number 2 above, summarize your main idea as well as the old 5 W's. |
| 4. Tell me something about what you hope your future career to be. Tell me things like: --What kind of job is it? --How will you get there? --Can you point me to a few web sites about such a job? |
| 5. Finally, what kind of website do you plan on building next semester? What sort of information will be there? How would you like it to look and/or sound? |
| **If you have extra time and want extra credit, send me a short article about SOMETHING/ANYTHING that we can post at a soon-to-be online student newspaper of our own. And what do you think this online paper should be called, anyway? |
