LAMARCKIAN SOCIETY |
The Lamarckian Society consists of those members who feel most closely aligned with the biological sciences. Named after Lamarck for his inventive theories of heritablility, our purpose is to create a group of educated biology students who can help each other and also non-members in their field of study. This society is currently led by our co-founders Matt and Andy. |

PTOLEMAIC SOCIETY |
This society exists for those members who call themselves physics, astronomy, mathematics, or other such majors. Named after the infamous Ptolemy, for his alternate explanation of our Solar system, the Ptolemaic Society acts as all our societies do: to provide a support group for students with similar interests. This society is led by Matt, otherwise known as Math. |

While I am working on a problem I never think about beauty. I only think about how to solve the problem. But when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know it is wrong. --Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983) |

ARISTOTELIAN SOCIETY |
The members belonging to this society are generally humanities/social science majors; the society gathers up all the remaining members into a final society dedicated to the study of the other arts. Named after one of the most influential and troublesome scientists, the Aristotelian Society attempts to act with the a fervor that would make its namesake proud. The society is currently led by Dave (not the lemur). |
