UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER
Alpha Chapter began at the U of R back in the fall of 1999, when Andy and Matt, the co-founders, got the bright idea to start a new "fraternity" for people with interests in the natural sciences.  Noting a lack of that type of organization on our campus, it seemed as though Chi Square would fill that void nicely.  Correspondingly, we have found a quick and energetic response to our efforts.  We can now boast a membership of approximately 20 students from 6 different universities nationwide.
  MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY
MSU, or more specifically, the Lyman Briggs School of the Natural Sciences, is home to the Beta Chapter of Chi Square.  For this we owe our thanks to Doug; from his indefatigable efforts we are sure that membership there will flourish much as it has here in Rochester.
  SUNY POTSDAM
Gamma Chapter is located in Potsdam New York, founded by Matt, Matt-Matt that is.  (Very confusing-the number of Matts we have...)  Upon hearing of Chi Square, Matt-Matt was immediately interested, as many people seem to be.  At any rate, Matt went ahead and started up a chapter there with the very same spirit of the best UR member.
