| eyes on change walking waiting standing still brisk New York City morning leaves fallen brown frost icy ground she looks out across the parkway cap adorns head knit mittens on hands blue parka keeps the cold out sharp late fall air short tawny hair frame round young old green eyes coffee steams up from favorite cup the towers stand tall surround her people stray by with unseeing guise as she welcomes her season of change |
