Project Seven: The Color Purple on Broadway
Instructions
Go and see The Color Purple on Broadway. Make sure that this is something that you are really interested in and are willing to spend some cash on.
Make sure that you have read most if not all of the book before you go, so that you may truly make a comparison between the book and the play.
Hold on to a ticketstub, so that you may hand it in with your final project. This will let me know that you were in attendance.
Compose a review of the play. What did you like? What did you not like? Which characters stood out? Did you cry? How is it like the book? How is it not like the book?
Print out the final copy of your review. There is four page requirement for the review.. It should be in MLA format. Please do not e-mail it to me. Be proactive!
Be prepared to present. Click on rubric to make sure that you have met all of the requirements.
