Okay Music Lovers, hold onto your hats. This page links to the latest releases by up and coming (and sometimes established) artists.
If you have a Hotmail, MSN or Live email account, you have the opportunity to have FIVE GIGABYTES of on-line storage. Here is a series of links to various drives where users have uploaded FREE music. Some also contain funny pictures and videos. Not all the Sky Drives are populated yet and more will be added as they are encountered.
Whether or not you bookmark this page, or add it to your favourites, each of the individual Sky Drives (and their individual folders and files) have the option of subscribing to RSS (Really Simple Syndication) Feeds. This means you are notified of any updates immediately. So, just because this page may not appear to have been updated, it does not mean that the Sky Drives have not and vice-versa, of course.

There is a never ending stream of official web sites, simply gagging to give away free music and promotional downloads, in the vane hope of course that you will subscribe and buy even more.
Amazon - Amazon provide a number of DRM (Digital Rights Management) Free, FREE tracks.
I-Tunes - wants to be the first and last in all that is music downloads and to help it on its road to world domination, it gives away a free weekly download. When enough have been amassed, they can be burnt out to a CD (or just one track to a CD-RW) and then ripped into Media Player without protection as WMA (Windows Media Audio) files. These can then be converted to MP3s if so desired.
Nokia Music - provide a similar weekly offering in DRM (Digital Rights Management) copy-protected WMA files. These too can be burnt out to CD and then re-imported in a similar manner to the I-Tunes tracks.
XFM - is a radio station whose web site hosts the very latest in weekly free downloads.
RCRDLBL - this vowel hating, consonantly named web site has new offerings on a daily basis.
My Space - OK! Hands up for those who still didn't know that this has become something of a music publishing revolution with many new bands shunning greedy music company moguls in favour of self-promotion and giving a load of freebies away to boot?
