Maddox Interview

Maddox has the biggest balls on the internet. On his site he writes articles confronting any subject he feels passionately about, such as 'Christoper Reeve is an asshole' and 'My balls are huge'.
But most importantly he gets lots of hate mail from lots of cocky people and publically answers the dumbest ones.
The deal with Maddox is that he's a clever guy with opinions and even if you don't agree with them, as long as you're not a moron you'll probably find them funny and interesting.
If you haven't already checked out this guy's site click here to see what the fuss is all about.
I wasn't sure if the guy would grant me an interview or not, his site is damn popular and my e mail was but one of about a thousand he receives every day from suck ups and people with no sense of humour. I feel real lucky to get such well thought out answers from such a busy guy.

Are you an angry guy offline or does maintaining the site keep you sane?

I'm pretty mellow in real life. When I first started the site it was mostly because I was bored with school, frustrated with my job, and because I wanted to spite my dumbass friends for having stupid ideologies. A quick search on the internet usually yields that many of the topics I talk about are rarely ever discussed in an open forum because most people are too chicken sh*t. So in that sense, it keeps things balanced.

Why should people read the stuff you write?

They shouldn't. I never ask anyone to read my site, all the traffic has been generated by word-of-mouth alone. The thing I hate most is when people force their opinions onto you, so I make sure to avoid doing that with my site. It's like a magazine in that sense, if you don't like a particular magazine: don't read it.

Which would you rather kick in the balls? A mime artist or a clown?

Mime.
