When Carole first joined Hope, almost on a daily bases she would write a little story & prayer for reflection. Through discussion & comments of these reflections is where the seeds of our friendship was planted. Our friendship blossomed quickly & for this I give thanks.
Carole's love for God & others was her source of real strength, it enabled her to brighten & inspire many lives. The past few years when she was unable to get out, the computer was her window to the outside world. Through her websites she became a crusader for Breast Cancer (she herself a survivor) Heart Disease & Children's Health Issues ...mainly Juvenile Diabetes.
Although frail & in poor health, Carole continued to have the heart of a Shepherd, she would reach out to be a friend, to love & encourage others.
Besides her great gift of love, she had a keen sense of humor & quick wit. This Southern Belle could entertain & keep you in stitches for hours at a time. She was very proud of her husband, children & grandchildren. One minute she would have you near tears as she shared a poignant moment & the next minute you would be laughing as she shared one of their antics.
Love, Prayer & Laughter are all great healers. Believe me when I say Carole provided us with multiple doses of all of these.
Gone but not Forgotten my friend, you will forever be in my heart - Love Judy.
May the Peace of Christ be with you always !!!
Carole often posted messages such as this before going to bed...
