As the Native Americans believe, so do I, that every living thing on this planet has a consciousness connection in the web of life. Thus, I knew I wanted the logo to be circular, representing that link between all living creatures.
Jody and Bill had recently captured a 5-lined skink of record-breaking length, right here at Earth's Classroom. So I used him as a model to encircle all the types of creatures, plants, stars and planets that would be studied at Earth's Classroom - mammals (the deer), birds of the air (the hawk), plant life (the oak tree), reptiles and amphibians (the skink), astronomy (the stars and moon), and the times in which Earth's Classroom would do study programs (day and night). The end product is the logo you see, drawn with compassion and love for Earth's Classroom.
