I live by one rule, and by one rule alone:
-harm none, but to help-
In life, I try my best to
-live hard
, so I'll die fulfilled-

L O V E :

Yes, love is a spiritual thing to me, not just a chemistry thing.

I believe that your spirituality greatly impacts how and who you love. Personally, I don't believe that love should be divided up. Love is love. Gender and race have nothing to do with love for me. That said, I haven't yet found a woman I would be able to make love to... The journey of life cannot be experienced fully without love. No consensual act of love is wrong.

O U R   S H A D O W :

We all have both darkness and light in us.

Everybody views the refusal of light as bad. But what a lot of people don't understand is that we also need the dark. To truly be ourselves we need to acknowledge that darkness exists within us, and find a healthy way to use the two.

T H E   U N I V E R S E :

We are the universe.

Each one of us are strongly connected. As our physical bodies eventually die, our souls live on and are born into new bodies. I believe that our souls choose the families and situations they are born into to teach others, and to further learn themselves. As the cycle is endless, everything we put into the universe is for our later use.

H E A L I N G :

We all have power within us to heal.

All ailments are caused by us, and all ailments can be cured by us. This of course involves the physical things we do to ourselves (smoking, eating healthy), but on a spiritual level we can also be doing ourselves great harm or good. Resentment causes haemorrhoids with a poor diet. You can be surgically healed temporarily, but unless you deal with your resentful feelings and change your destructive lifestyle, they will come back.

B E A U T Y :

What makes a person beautiful is their soul.

Physical form is irrelevant. Decapitated limbs and deformities do not make us ugly. How we let the outside affect our soul directly reflects how beautiful we are. If we are constantly refusing to move on from bad experiences, we will become ugly. A teacher once told me that you get the face you deserve when you're fifty. This of course is without cosmetic touch-ups. In your face is the story of your soul's journey.

J U D G E M E N T :

I don't believe that there is a "Judgement Day" so to speak.

We are constantly being judged by the universe, which is us. I am a strong believer in karma. Kill someone with hate, and you will experience that death and hate three times over somewhere down the track. This is the universe's way of helping us move forward. We should embrace these punishments as a positive learning experience.

R E L I G I O N :

Religion is one of the world's most destructive forces.

Religion is just like any political movement... they're all good in theory, even communism, but putting them into practice never works. They all deteriorate very quickly. Shepherds become dominators, homophobia and racism reign, and what was once the truth becomes a tangled web of lies that can never be unravelled. Having your own spirituality is great.

F A I T H :

Faith works wonders.

We all need faith in something. A soul without faith is the saddest thing imaginable to me. If you don't have faith, then why even attempt to get through life's struggles? I have 100% faith in myself and what I believe, and it is that faith that gets me through the day, the week, the century. Without my faith I would be long gone.

D E A T H :

Death is a natural part of life.

In order for new life to emerge, something must die. This can be witnessed as a grub sheds it's skin to transform into a butterfly. There are countless positive ways in which death can affect our lives. It is up to each of us as individuals to keep death from being a destructive force in our lives. I believe death should be celebrated, and would like a party for my death.
