If you would like to volunteer in the classroom, you MUST have a tuberculosis (TB) test that is no older than four years. Proof of TB copies must be given to the office so that it can be kept on file. Volunteers must also remember to sign in the office everytime before coming into the classroom for safety reasons, and there is also a volunteer pin that must be worn so that the school knows you are a volunteer. We need: - Two room parents to coordinate holiday parties and special activities among all student families (Volunteer times will vary depending on holidays and activities) - Weekly classroom volunteers to help stuff folders and prepare materials (cutting, gathering, gluing, grading, assisting, etc.) EVERY Friday afternoon from 2:00-3:00pm. - Computer volunteer to assist Mrs. Yu with technology projects in the computer lab each week on Wednesdays from 1:15-2:15pm. - Assisting on an "as needed" basis (not weekly, but occassionally for special events, activites, field trips, etc.). |
