Friday folders will contain school information, weekly newsletters, and graded class work. Please go over your child's papers with him/her and fill out the signature sheet on the back of the folder so that I know you have looked at everything. Please let me know if you have questions or concerns by writing a note in the Comments Box. Students are required to return the signed Friday folders on Monday morning. Please be aware that much of our classwork is project oriented, and therefore you will not see an excessive amount of worksheets going home every week. |

| Students' behavior will be monitored everyday in the classroom by using my Super Stars bulletin board. Every child's name is posted next to a Super Star Badge. Students who follow school and class rules all week long will bring home the Super Star Badge! If a student does not follow one of our class rules, then I will give one verbal warning. If the student continues not to follow the rules, then I will speak to the child privately and send home a note on the Friday Folder. They will not be able to take the Super Star Badge home. If the situation worsens, then the student will be given more severe consequences depending on the problem. Please celebrate the Badges at home and reinforce the importance of following classroom rules! |
