In order to cover all of the expenses for field trips and in-school programs which support and enrich our curriculum, Eaton Elementary School asks for a class room donation of $150 for this school year, payable by check to Eaton School. This donation is very important to enhancing our curriculum because it makes possible the many enrichment programs we provide for your child, such as: - Monthly Schoolwide Assemblies The Morris Brothers, Wildlife Associates, Traveling Lantern Theater Company, Middle Eastern Dance Sittat El Qalb, Taiko Dojo Drummers, Stepology Tap Dancing, Mary Kelly Story Teller, West Bay Opera, Claire the Loon, and the Fratello Marionettes. - Planned Field Trips & Bus Transportation fees Fairytale Land and San Francisco Zoo (TBD), Natural Bridges State Park, Theaterworks Plays, and end of the year picnic at Almaden Lake Park. These fees include admission as well as bus transportation. - Weekly grade-level circuit supplies Hands-on activities in the areas of multi-cultural studies, literature, art, science, cooking, math, and language arts. We also use the donation money to help fund costumes and props for our end of the year musical. - On-site Presenters Environmental Volunteers will be coming to our classroom to teach us about the environment and living things among us. Please know that without this donation, many of our enrichment programs will not be possible. You may pay the entire amount at once, or if donating the whole amount now is not easily done, we have two other options for making donations: 1) $150 as soon as possible 2) One donation of $75 can be made by October 1st and the second donation of $75 can be made by January 30th. 3) Ten donations of $15 made once a month for 10 months beginning now in August and the last one in May.
