pizza dough

INGREDIENTS
| water | 1 cup | ||
| quick yeast | 1 pkg | ||
| flour | 2 1/2 - 3 cups | ||
| olive oil | 2 Tbsp | ||
| salt | 1/2 tsp | ||
| pizza toppings |
METHOD
mix water and yeast until dissolved
stir in half of the flour, oil and salt
combine
gradually add the rest of the flour
knead until smooth and elastic
let rise for 1 1/2 - 2 hours
punch down, divide in two, and roll to 1/4 inch thick
put on baking pan or pizza stone, top with favourite toppings
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 30 minutes - until crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted
NOTES
really good basic pizza dough. I rolled mine quite thin, and it was perfect.
