My friend Michelle and I decided to go check out the Tower Theater to see what it was like. So my parents drove us there on Friday night. It was really scary and ghetto..but Hanson was going to be there the next night so we loved it! As we turned down the street past it there was a van from Oklahoma in front of us and we started freaking out..but as we drove past it we realized it was those people that stalk Hanson..you might have seen them..the one lady has majorly screwed up teeth! lol..sorry! So on our way home we decided to look at the hotels to see if we could spot their busses. Well just as we were about to give up we spotted them in a gated parking lot. It was dark out by now. So paying the $5 it was to get into the parking lot..we parked behind the busses. A group of three men were by them, they had just gotten out of a cab with their golfing equipment. So we walked into the hotel and to get there, there was a small street with sidewalk on both sides. So as we were walking on one side I looked over and I see Zac and Ashley (the girl) walking on the opposite sidewalk. So I am in a daze right about now and my dad is on that side of the sidewalk and walks RIGHT next to him. Michelle and I stayed on the opposite sidewalk and out of nowhere Im like "Hey Zac" but he just ignored me! I couldn't believe I actually had the guts to say anything because I am usually so shy! So they kept walking and Im guessing they went to the bus. I couldn't believe that Zac was just walking around by himself like that..especially at night in Philly! haha So anyway we go in the lobby and sit down. A few minutes later Zac and Ashley walked back in. Ashley walked one way and Zac walked right past me..with his head turned on purpose as if to ignore us. I didn't say anything because I could tell he didn't want to be bothered. Then he walked into the hallway where the elevators were and got in. I couldn't believe I had just been so close to Zac Hanson and acted perfectly calm. I mean I freak out more when I see guys that I am obsessed with in school! And then Zac Hanson walks by and I hardly even pay attention. Then these others girls came to check into the hotel. I tried to be nice to them but they were just PURE IGNORANT to me so I didn't bother. Ashley walked by us a few times too. So anyway those girls were like whispering about us and staring at us and I felt bad about sitting down there stalking Hanson anyway so we decided to leave! As we did we got pics by the tour busses. There was a guy sitting in there and a light was on so you could kinda see the inside of the front of the bus. So I felt really dumb and wanted to leave but my parents insisted that they get a pic of me by it! And that was the end of that night!

9/16/00

Well this whole concert madness started back in the end of July when I won tickets of of 97.5 PST! I was soo excited! I was even more excited when I got the tickets a few weeks later and realized I had front row tickets!! However I found out when I got to the theater there was pit in front of me which actually made me 3rd row..but I can't complain! :O) My cousins Katie and Sara, and my friends Kelley, Maria, Kathy and I all headed to Hanson's hotel to see if they were still there but they weren't. So we headed for the Tower Theater and there were a lot of people already there..it was about 3:45. We found out that Hanson had just gotten off their tour bus about 10 minutes before we got there. The busses were all parked where you could touch them and stuff. There was a mean security guard which my dad got in a fight with! But anyway as we were standing there we saw Walker and then Diana arrived in a cab. Around 4:40 we went to wait in line where we waited until 6:30. We past the time by trying to figure out where to hide our cameras. I'd like to say hi to the nice girl behind us that let Maria borrow her shirt..we still have it so if you are reading this e-mail me and I'll get it back to ya! I also met up with my friends Taylor and Ashley who I met when Hanson performed in Baltimore. Anyway we got in the Tower about 6:45 and went right to the merchandise! It was crazy there! Everyone was pushing..i can only imagine what general admission is like. So we went to the bathroom where we waited until 7:45 and walked in while M2M was on. They were pretty decent. So we went to our seats which were EXTREMELY close.

My friend Stephanie sat right behind me. A lot of girls got kicked out who had snuck up! (Sidenote: Before Hanson came out a girl threw up behind me! Pretty gross...but it gets worse. A random girl was hiding from security guards under Kathy and I's seats and she crawled in it! haha It was so funny..i look down and there was a head underneath me! ) So finally after waiting forever Hanson came out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was such a rush! Tay had on these lace up jeans with a rhinestone belt..and a green shirt over a gray wifebeater. Zac had on black jeans, and a red and blue shirt, and Ike had on some type of flowery shirt..dont know the pants though..maybe brown. They played:

Tay looked at us a few times. One being during Save Me! I was pointing to him and he looked right at me and kinda smiled! Even the girl behind Kathy and I said he was looking at us so I know I wasn't imagining it. But he looks at everyone so..! A girl got on stage. She was cool about it though..she ran up to Tay during the acoustic set and shook his hand. Then a roadie came and took her away. Tay waved bye to her..he was sweet about it. When they came back out for the acoustic set Tay had a gray wifebeater on. During Lucy..Tay kept mouthing backstage to turn Zacs mic up! He was smiling and looked soooo cute doing that! He kicked a lot of beach balls off the stage..one being one that Kathy had thrown up. He picked up Stephanies glow stick off the stage and threw it in the crowd. She was freaking out about that! lolol Tay kept drinking something out if a cup (im thinking maybe the beef crap) and his water of course. He constantly ran his hand through his hair..and used his sweat towel. During one of the songs Zac was headbanging like a maniac! His hair was ALL over the place! While playing the harmonica for If Only Tay took roses from 2 girls in the front. I remember when they were introducing Hand In Hand tay said something and said "Just a little bit" and motioned with his hands. Ike came over to my side and I dont know what a girl did but he gave her a look like "no dont do that" and shook his hands as if to say no..and then walked away. During In the City Ike also jumped up with his guitar and landed on his knees. And at the end of "I Want You To Want Me" as Tay was playing the drums Zac jumped on top of his drums and jumped off! It was soo cool. When introducing the back up band Tay and Ike both did the "were not worthy" bow..and the whole crowd followed them! Before MMMBop Tay asked everyone in the audience who had Hanson.net or MOE and then he started laughing and said that basically the whole audience did. He also started randomly playing the bongos! lol And when he did play the bongos..he was facing directly at us! What a nice view! :O) Thats about all the highlights I can think of! But it was definitely the best concert so far!!
