She is amazingly supportive and helpful when it comes down to helping a friend out tho. She was there for me in April 2000 when my grandmother passed away when we came back from a school trip from NYC. She hoeld me in the band hall, while i was in tears, before I was to go to my grandmother's funeral. She held me and told me that now things were going to be ok now that my grandma was not suffering from cancer anymore. .
Memories of dancing, singing, and joking around on stage were the best for me when I think of our friendship. Having her dance next to me for 2 Calvacades (talent showcases in HS), musicials, and even at the Arneson River Theatre when I was in Starlight--was always rewarding. She has always had this intense drive for performing which I admire so much & miss since our days in HS.
Singing in the car to and from Austin was always fun too! Singing out of tune to incubus & Fiona Apple, were my favorite times. No matter how bad I sounded, she would nodd & say "Wow--you sounds good!" Therefore I apperciate her honesty & her positive feedback for the singing career I plan to laund. LOL Shes a nerd.
She is inspiring, helpful, funny, witty, and honest. She is a good person with good intensions (even tho she can be very hurtful) & no matter what or who comes in the way of our friendship, I dont think anyone could ever take away the time and past experiences we have shared together. I know she will be in my life forever and I very much look forward to it. Ever since I befriended her in HS, I knew she was a good friend.
From the first time she took me to my first semi-rave to the times we spent in the dance stuido in HS choreographing our tap duet to "Singin in the Rain", I will always remember how much Lizel has impacted my life. She's one of the bestest best friends I've ever had the privilege to have. She is a big part of my life, and in efforts to reflect that I write this for the memory and longivity of our friendship. To you Lizel.... *~Melissa~* |
