Have you ever wanted to be a volunteer but didn't know how to get involved?  You're not alone.  Lots of people, adults and kids alike, are unaware that they can make a difference, don't know how to get involved, or don't feel empowered to do so.
That's all about to change, and here's how!
This website is a resource to link you to other websites with volunteer opportunities and information.  Just click on one of the links that seems interesting and see where it takes you.  There is something for EVERYONE.  The volunteering possibilities are endless!

HEY KIDS!  Check out these
volunteer projects anyone can do:

1.  Help your parents or other family members with a chore or two (remember, charity begins at home!)
2.  Read to kids at the library
3.  Hold a food, clothing, book, or toy drive
4.  Clean up a park
5.  Hold a bake sale for a local charity
6.  Visit Senior Citizens in a nursing home
7.  Help out at a local animal shelter or zoo
8.  Write letters to the troops
IMPORTANT TIP: Always ask your parents for permission to surf the internet and make sure they approve your volunteering project.  Many times your volunteering will require adult supervision.  Invite friends to join you and see if your parents can alternate supervising.  Or, see if local high school students will volunteer to help you volunteer.  Where there's a will, there's a way!
