Todd's church, where he ministers, loses some churchgoers to war, including Todd. Christy learns to balance marriage & faith on her own while Todd is away. She also learns how to respect Tracy's rather limited free time for friendship moments as Tracy becomes a new happy mother. Doug misses Todd. Then Todd comes back from war with an orphan. Although, this is a wonderful surprise, Christy struggles to keep her tidiness order with the randomly addition to Christy & Todd's family life. Christy also questions her career goals, as she wants to align with her Christian faith -- from bookstore manager to teacher during Christy's transitional period. As Christy & Todd go along, they learn to appreciate each other as well as their Christian faith and have plenty of happy moments together down the road. Like Katie & Rick's! upcoming marriage, Sierra's newfound faith goal, after doing Brazil, Bob & Marti's retirement and giving a handful of domestic gifts to Christy & Todd. Then finally after a bout of infertility, Christy & Todd have twin babies. All of this doesn't have to be written in one book, though. The more, the better! :-) Long live Christy & Todd!!!
