Over 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was crucified. He died for one purpose. For you. For me. For the world. He died to save us and to grant us our free passport to live in paradise with Him. You see, everyone has sinned. Whether it is a little white lie or robbing a store, we have all done something wrong in our life. And the punishment for sinning is eternal life in hell, separated from God forever. But God doesn't want us to go to hell. He wants us to spend eternity with Him in heaven! So He sent his one and only Son to save us.
Jesus died on the cross that Easter thousands of years ago to pay for our sins. Because He was perfect, He died in our place and paid the price that we should. So now, all we have to do is accept Jesus as our savior, repent (saying you are sorry for your sins), and ask Jesus into your heart. If you make that commitment, you will spend your life after death in heaven with God! So if you want to make that commitment right now, pray this prayer.
Dear Jesus, I realize that I have sinned and need to be saved. I know that You died on the cross for my sins to give me a free trip to heaven. I am sorry for all the sins I've committed. Please forgive me for them. I accept You and want to follow You. Amen.
