| Dear Frustrated, It seems that everyone has had to deal with some type of annoying person at least once in their life time and sometimes it just drives us absolutely crazy! I know how you feel! I've been through similar experiences myself. But I've learned a few things from my "similar experiences" that I think you'd find helpful. First of all, pray for patience! For people like the person you described, you'll need it! When you ask him to stop, remember to ask him nicely. Don't scream in his face, "STOP IT YOU JERK! YOU ARE SO ANNOYING!" No. That obviously won't work very well, especially since it's in class! If you continues to annoy you, you might consider asking your teacher to move you to another seat or moving him. Another way of dealing with your friend is understand that he wants attention. That's usually why they are so annoying! They do it over and over again because they see you don't like it and since you don't like it, you'll pay attention to them. It may seem like an odd way to get attention, but some people are desperate. If you act like what he does doesn't bug you at all, then maybe he'll stop. Whatever you do, remember that the annoying boy that sits next to you was created by God too. Miss Weird |
| Dear Miss Weird, There's this one really annoying person in one of my classes, and I'd usually be able to withstand his obnoxious behavior excpet for he sits next to me! And sometimes, he just gets REALLY annoying! I just feel like telling him to shut up and go to some other planet! Anyway, he's really annoying and whenever I tell him to quit it, he keeps on acting like a jerk. What should I do? Frustrated |
