| Dear Anoynmous, Ouch! I'd rank that experience under on of the most embarrassing. I'm sorry that you had to go through that, but sometimes God puts us through embarrassing moments for us to learn something. Refer to James 1:2-4 for a correlated verse. This boy you dated was probably disgusted, no doubt. But if the boy truly liked you and was still interested, he would have spoken to you since then and expressed wishes to go out again. Perhaps he still likes you, but he doesn't want to risk something that gross again! Whatever is going through his head, I think its better just to wait. The girls shouldn't initiate in the relationship too much, because that scares the guys off. :) Trust me. I know from personal experience! Again, if the guy really likes you, he will ask you out again. He may just be thinking it through or waiting for some reason. And both reasons are good ones. Be patient. Relationships shouldn't be taken quickly. They are fragile if they aren't built with the right bricks of trust, honesty, mutual affection, integrity, and many others. Steps should be taken slowly. But overall, you should trust on God's timing, not the timing you think is right, on everything you do, especially dating. Depend on Him. |
| sup, miss weird? i kinda got this crush on this guy and he asked me out to the movies. well, we've been dating for the last couple of weeks and one night we went to a restarant together and i had to go to the bathroom. i went in there and did my thing. when i came out. he put his arm around me and then pulled back in disgust saying," eww, what's all over your shirt!!!" i look down and saw that the bottom of my big sister's tank top was covered in poop!!!! i didn't pull my shirt up enough from the toilet!! he hasn't asked me out since and it's been two weeks! should i ask him out or just ignore this "short lived" relationship?
