Dear Attitude,

To summarize for the people who don't know about William Hung, he tried out for American Idol and, according to the judge, couldn't dance or sing at all.  But he answered when told that he did his best and was satisfied with that.  His attitude is something that we should uphold.  I'm not saying that we shoud all go try out for American Idol even if we can't sing.  But his attitude about it is something that we should notice.

What I would get from William Hung's attitude most is that you should try your best in everything and, even if others put you down, know that what you did was your best and be proud of that.  You should do exactly what he said to the judge. The thing is, that attitude isn't something easy to achieve!

The way I would approach it is if someone puts you down about something you did, saying you aren't good at something, or something like that...analyze the situation. Did you give whatever it was your all?  And then, even if someone isn't putting you down, STILL analyze it.  Ask yourself if you are giving things your all, if you are doing your best.  It won't come easily, but eventually giving everything all that you can will become the first thing you do, not something that you have to think about.

I'd pray, read the Bible.  Start by giving THOSE things your all.  Start by giving GOD your all. He'll help you get the rest into place.  Ask Him for wisdom.  That's what I recommend most.
