Kelsey is honored to be representing Washington at the Jr. Teen America pageant.  In September she will be traveling to Connecticut to compete for the national title.  Kelsey is an 8th grade honor student at Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bellevue, Washington.  She is the student body Community Service Officer and is a member of the lacrosse team and Drama Club.  Kelsey was selected as her school's candidate for the Prudential Community Spirit Award for her work on behalf of the Make A Wish Foundation.  Kelsey is also a volunteer for the Samena Splashers, A Special Olympic swim team.   Through her school she has been active in helping at the St. Mary's Food Bank and the St. Angeline's Women's Shelter.

Kelsey is a member of the competition dance team at Backstage in Bellevue and the Eastside Youth Vocal Ensemble.  This summer she will be performing in Seattle Opera's production of Parsifal as a member of the children's chorus.  She's also sung our National Anthem at various events including the Seattle Sounders and Special Olympic Games.  Kelsey enjoys participating in pageants and is the former National Miss Sweetheart Hi Point and National American Coed PreTeen Speech winner.

Kelsey resides in Issaquah with her parents and two younger brothers, Devon and Garrett.  She enjoys swimming, skiing, wakeboarding and horseback riding.  Her future plans include continuing to perform in musicals and other vocal venues, being a page at our state capitol, being a lifeguard and summer camp counselor and a career as a child psychologist.
