| Serena has been a part of the Tomah Torpedoes Swim Team for the last 2 years and is looking forward to continuing with it again this summer. Serena has become a major part of the team, with her coach always looking for her to pickup the freestyle portion of relays. |

| Serena has started getting involved in activities with school here in Tomah. This spring she joined the track team, and as the only 6th grader going up against all other 7th graders doing the shot put, she placed 5th. Not too shabby, huh? At the May 6 meet she got 1st place in the 100 m dash even with spraining her ankle in her heat. After sitting with ice on it, she went and did the shot put - and came in 2nd. WOW. Pretty amazing girl, huh? |

| This year Serena and 4 of her friends got together and did a routine in the lip sync competition for Lake Tomah Fest. They came together and 'became' THE SPICE GIRLS and performed SPICE UP YOUR LIFE. They did a great routine, however, did not place in the winners. Watch out for next time!!! |

| Another event this year for Lake Tomah Fest was running for Little Miss Tomah. The girls who run have to sell buttons for admission to the fest, and then they have an interview session to go through where they answer questions about their community involvement, social activities, school life, etc. Serena didn't take the title, BUT she DID take RUNNER UP and that's pretty cool! She got a corsage that she wore all weekend of the fest. She's pictured here with Monica, who ran for Jr. Little Miss Tomah. |
