As you know, my name is Missty. I am 50 odd years old and as you can see I am a teacher and Mistress of Whispering Whind's Haven. I am a Wiccan Witch. Most people who know me call me a Crone. I'm very proud of that as the Goddess Hecate is also a Crone and I consider her my Granny. I must say that the women in my life are the ones whom I've learned the most from.
On my mother's side of the family, she is a descendant of Irish, Welsh & Scotch people. So, she taught me about fairies, gnomes, leprechauns and such. She also taught me how to dance and sing.
On my father's side of the family, he is a descendant of French Canadian and Native Indian people. So, his mom, (my grandmother) taught me secrets about herbs, and how the earth takes care of us. She also taught me that everything in the forest is alive and that it holds many secrets that are not yet revealed to us. She also taught me to watch the animals, and to listen to them, for they could teach us alot of things we need to know in order to survive. Above all, to take care of Mother Earth, because without her, we would not exist.
Now, you put all that together and you have me.
I grow herbs for many reasons. I believe in fairies and the like. I believe that the earth is alive and that she needs care. I believe that without wild animals the world would be a very sad place to live in.
My dreams are psychic dreams, and they come to me in vivid color. I also have out of body experiences and do Tarot readings. I do spells for good things, such as healing and to bring love into someone's heart, as well as for blessings.
