Urkel/Stefan/Jaleel White
Back in high school I remember watching Family Matters. Not because it was good, but because nothing else was on Friday nights. My mother pretty much kept me locked in the house so my sad existence depended on television, music, movies, and homework. Enough about that--let's talk about this Urkel person. He was never funny! What the hell was up with that? How can you consider catch phrases like "Got Any Cheese?" and "Did I Do That?" to be funny? I can't think of one time when I thought any episodes of Family Matters was funny.
Ok...there were a few episodes that I did crack up laughing at. Those episodes were the ones where they turned Steve Urkel into Stefan and everybody acted like he was so damn fine. It was the same person without glasses and with some clothes that were a little more stylish. Come on now. HE WAS STILL UGLY!
What's really sad...is the fact that Alaye had the nerve to give the boy a featured month in their calendar. What was up with that? He ain't fine! How can you put Urkel up with men like gay ass Shemar Moore (who still has body), Mel Jackson, Eric Benet, etc.? Come on now. I don't care how many days, hours, weeks Urkel spends in the gym--the boy is still UGLY!
It was bad enough this show lasted for 9 years, but when it was over...not long after that, they let the boy get his on show on UPN. PLEASE! Thus, proving...anybody can get a show on UPN and WB. Pass me my laptop and let me get to working on a new pilot.
