Shabba!! I lived in South Florida for most of my life and when it came to reggae you really didn't have much choice but to listen and dance to it. (Although it use to piss me off when I walked into a club and found out that it was reggae night...we'd have to listen to reggae until the dang on club closed!)
Anyway, Shabba Ranks use to be one of my favorites. I use to always sing the wrong words to his songs because who ever really knew what he was saying anyway? Well I guess people from the islands or people who hung around "island" people all the time...but not me!
Anyway, how many of you remember referencing Shabba Ranks or Craig Mack when we wanted to let somebody know just how ugly an individual was? Funny thing is, most of the time Shabba was singing about what a loverman he was.
