Hello all!
Camille gave me her account number for the internet at school. So, here I am! I was going to go shopping for some sweaters, although the weather is quite nice this week, but instead I ate lunch with Camille and her sister and then now I am writing emails. After this I will go to the Tennis club here at school.
Friday night, Elise, Pam and I went to Fribourg and went dancing. It was really boring and I don't know if we will do it again. I spent the at Elise's cause it was late at night. The next morning when I called home, Marielle and Ksenia were both sick. So I proceeded to go to the YFU function with Elise, Mimi, and Martial. It was weird cause I didn't have parents at the meeting! We went over things we liked and didn't like about our families and I think the parents did the same in a diff room. Alltogether it was rather uneventful. Other than all the other exchange students thought it was gross that I never see my family wash their hands!!!!!!! Pam won't even come over to my house cause she is scared of my family. What am I supposed to do?
Sunday! Benichon!!! A holiday of the canton of Fribourg. It has something to do about the harvest, nevertheless lots of food. I ate soooooo much. It was good too. We had ham, bread, mashed potatoes, deer, green beans, meraigne, raspberries, creme, cookies...I can't even remember all what we had but they were all in courses. I prefer not to eat the moutarde de benichon though.
Monday, the longest day for school and yes...I wore my jumpsuit for Sarabeth! First I had math plus and I didn't understand alot cause of the language. However, I got 10 and 11 so after class I told the teacher and he explained 12 to me. Then I asked for a pass and he said I had plenty of time. Yes, I was late to Philosophie. I opened the door and everyone was starring at me. Then, of course, the prof told me 12 sit ups. The class (may I remind you is 20 guys and 2 other girls) proceeded to stare and laugh. In spite of it being rather humerous, I sure hope I don't have to do it again. The guys have to do push ups. The rest of the day was rather uneventful. However, I found my self speaking French rather rapidly with Marielle that afternoon. Then she showed me pictures of Ksenia when she was adopted and the video of Sebastian and Severine's wedding. They are the prettiest couple ever and I'm sure Maelle will be even prettier. She is the tiniest baby I have ever seen!!
This morning I woke up and I did not want to move. I proceeded to put on my star wars shirt, eat breakfast and go to the bus. I had French, math and art today. I want to move in math cause that kid seriously freaks me out. Well I better get going to tennis. And I needed to buy clothes today!! Maybe I will have time tomorrow. haha
