This year students will learn about the physical world around them using
the Glencoe Physical Science book.
They will begin with scientific method and design.
They will then continue with energy, motion, acceleration, momentum, energy, thermal energy, machines, nature of matter, classification of matter, atomic structure, chemical bonds, elements, solutions, chemical reactions, acids, bases, salts, waves, light, sound, electricity, magnetism, and electronics.
Students will perform experiments, view demonstrations, and work on projects. There will be quizes and tests along with daily class work. Check back often for updates. Long term project and test dates will appear on the calendar.
