News of the Classroom

Science News!
We are studying soil composition as our first science unit! As a class we will be doing lost of hands on experiments. We will be working with worms and dirt! The students will be collecting data about our experiments to learn more about soil and it's importance to our world.
Thank you for all your hard work class! The science unit went very well!

Social Studies News!
We will be starting a new unit on community! We will be learning about maps and globes and how they work in our communities.

Math News!
We are working on mulitiplication!! STUDY YOUR FLASH CARDS!!!!!!!

Reading News!
We are starting literature circles now! The students and I are discussing what they are reading and other literature elements.

Handwriting!
In the third grade we are also learning about cursive handwriting! I am very excited about this. I know that in middle school and later on students will need to have handwriting knowledge and I would like to help prepare them for that.
