Back to New Gourd Bowls
Around the top is a continuous band of turquoise inlay, signifying eternity......a continuous circle.

The 7 shofars carved under the turquoise "band" ( Joshua 6:4,5 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams's horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat........) symbolize, that as the people obeyed God's instructions, He brought the walls standing between them and the promised land, tumbling down. Just as, in our own lives, if we obey Him and use our "shofar" ( our voice) and shout with a loud shout, Praises to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords,
HE will bring the "walls" in our life, down.........if we trust, obey and thank Him always in ALL things.

The Ram, is symbolic of so many things, including "Strength"
It was the ram that was provided as a sacrifice, by God, for Abraham, when out of obedience and faith, he took his only son Isaac to be sacrificed before the Lord. The Lord tested Abraham's faithfulness, but provided the ram as a sacrifice instead of Abraham's only son.
( the reason Abraham was able to take his only son as a sacrifce was that he knew God would provide, for the Lord God had made many promises about the boy's future 'life', not death [ Abraham KNEW God would provide] )
(Genesis 22:13,14 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught  in a thicket by his horns : and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham called the name of the place Jehovah Jirah [the Lord provides]....)
Just as this Ram took the place of Isaac,as a blood sacrifice, Our Lord Jesus Christ, the [male] Lamb of God (ram) took our place on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, so that ANY who believe on Him shall have everlasting life and not perish( John 3:15) because of the forgiveness of our sins, through His shed blood .

The "tree" medallion is carved, pyroengraved and inlaid with a product called "inlace'. The tree symbolizes us, the believers in Christ ( Psalm 1:3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall no wither;  and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper)
The three wavy lines below are carved and inlaid with turquoise chip to symbolize that water [ that we are planted by] water symbolizes the Holy Spirit and 3 symbolizes the Holy Trinity......God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
The red arch over the tree is carved and inlaid with red "inlace" rock, to symbolize the blood covering [that Jesus shed for us) over us who believe.
