Here is our schedule: 8:10 a.m.: School begins (Assembly, morning prayer, and announcements outside) 8:15 a.m.: Bell Work (grammar/phonics/spelling) 8:30 a.m.: Spelling/Handwriting (alternate) 9:00 a.m.: T, W, TH, F- Religion, M- P.E. (*students come to school already in P.E. uniform) 9:30 a.m.: Shared Reading 10:00 a.m.: M- Art, T- Writing, W- Religion, TH- P.E. (*students come to school already in P.E. uniform), F- Phonics/Grammar 10:45 a.m.: DEAR Time (independent reading/AR time) 11:10 a.m.: LUNCH/RECESS 11:50 a.m.: Calendar Math/Math 12:50 p.m.: M, T, W, TH- Phonics/Grammar (alternate), F- Computer 1:20 p.m.: M, T, W, F- Science/Social Studies (alternate)T- Music 1:50 p.m.: M, W, TH, F- Writing/Centers (alternate), W- Art 2:40 p.m.: Clean up/Afternoon prayers 3:00 p.m.: Dismissal * On Mondays and Thursday, students are allowed to wear their P.E. uniforms to school for the day. We are trying to make the transition from kindergarten to first grade easier. This will not take affect until the second week of school. In January, students will have to wear their uniforms to school and change into their P.E. uniforms on those days they have P.E.. Back to Mrs.Miller's First Grade |
