Scholastic and Troll Book Orders: We will not be having a book order this month. We will continue our book orders in January. Christmas Play: Our Christmas play will be on Friday, December 7th at 1:15 p.m. Tickets are $2.50. Please send in your child's costume labeled and in a bag by Monday, December 3rd. We will be having dress rehearsal on Thursday, December 6th at 1:15 p.m. We hope to see you all there on Friday. Christmas Toy Drive: Each child is asked to bring in a gift for someone who is the same age and the same gender as themselves. The gift should not be wrapped. We will have a box to place all of the gifts in. Christmas Party: On December 19th, there will be no school lunches. We are planning on having pizza during lunch time. I will be sending home a letter saying how much it will be. If you child does not want pizza, they must provide their own lunch. Later on in the day, we will be watching a holiday movie and having a snack. Christmas Gift Ideas: I am not expecting anything for Christmas, but if you are thinking of buying me something I would love to continue to add to our classroom. Here are some gift ideas and suggestions: -gift certificates from Borders and/or Barnes and Nobles -gift certificates from Lakeshore Learning (the teacher store at the corner of Westshore/Kennedy) -gift certificates from Wal-mart -books for our classroom -math manipulatives (I have magazines and the teacher store sells them, too) If you would like to give me a personal gift, then here are some other ideas and suggestions: -gift certificates to Remington`s Steakhouse, Carrabbas, Buca de Beppo, Maggianos, and/or Outback -gift certificates to the Mall -gift certificates to Borders and/or Barnes and Nobles (I love books!) -gift certificates to the movies (Muvico) or Blockbuster I hope this was helpful!
