I have, on occasion, found Mr Frank Skinner amusing, funny even. Yet his treatmant of Miss Sophie Ellis Bextor at the Brit Awards has severely damaged his reputation in my opinion.
No type of apology could be sufficient to right the damage inflicted to Miss Sophie Ellis Bextor's self esteem.
The real lasting damage, however, will be dealt to Mr Frank Skinner himself. The comment 'Why such a wide face' demonstrates a lack of imagination and highlights a meanness of character.
Although I have found him amussing in the past, I have also felt that his brand of humour is mcuh to heavily dependant on sneering.
Will he now simply be remembered for this unkind sneer to far. I wonder?
