The Copper Canyon - The Train Journey From Creel to Los Mochis
Having successfully returned from Batopilas on the local bus again, which departed at 5 a.m., we climbed on board the train heading for Los Mochis and the end of our Copper Canyon trip.  The train arrived at Creel only 35 minutes late but arrived in Los Mochis 4 and a half hours late, meaning we arrived at about 3 a.m.!  We decided there would be no point in going to a hotel at that time of day so headed straight for the bus station and jumped onboard a bus headed for Mazatlan, our next stop!  The train trip was definitely worth it though as we stopped at a place called Divisidero, the only place from which you can get a good view of the Copper Canyon from the rim, and had great views later on by the light of a very bright, beautiful full moon.
Typical housing in the canyon near Creel Lots of goats were to be found in the valleys around Creel!
