Who Am I

I am an American and recent college graduate. I received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from the University of Southern Maine. I'm currently working as junior programmer at AACN, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and really enjoying being out of school for the time being. I will of course go back to school to get my PhD.

Web Page Design

Creating web pages can be very creative, a little challenging, a learning experience and a great way to meet people with similar interests.

Programming

Creating my own programs is fun and challenging. I have learned many computer languages, including Java, html, and Visual C++.

Mickey Mouse

He has to be my favorite Disney character. Although Mickey is my favorite character, I do like the many other Disney characters almost as much as him.

Disney

I am a huge fan of the Disney Company; I have a large collection of Disney items. I have seen all of the full length animated features, and loved them. I also know many of the Disney songs by heart. I've been to Disneyland numerous times, Walt Disney World twice. My most recent visit was this summer as a graduation present, I hope to visit Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disneyland in the future.

Horses

I love horses and have taken riding lessons in the past, but hope to own my own horses in the future. Actually I not only hope to own horses in the future, but also to own/run my own horse ranch.

Country Music

Country music is what I listen to most of the time. I haven't seen many concerts. I went to the Reba concert in Boston last summer and a Randy Travis concert several years ago in Texas. They were both very good concerts.

Holidays

I love celebrating holidays, so my web site always wishes you a great one. I have also created a year round Christmas card for my visitors full of links to many Christmas stories as a gift to you.

Sight Seeing

I try to visit all of the sights, wherever I go. From national parks to theme parks, they're all great to me. I've been to too many to count. A few of the sights I have visited are the Grand Canyon (a breathtaking view), Sea World (a great place to see dolphins), Grand Ole Opry, (not the happiest experience, but a great show - Our show was on the day of Conway Twitty's death) and Death Valley (a very hot experience - We were there on one of the hottest days of the year).

Traveling

I would say I like to travel because I do so much traveling, as a child and now. I like to see new places and faces. Exploring and learning about new areas is, as I like to say, a lot of fun.

Collecting

I am a collector with many collections.

• My newest collection is the Disney Mini Bean Bag plush collection.
• My American currency and souvenir coins is my favorite collection. I have some interesting coins.
• I have a large collection of books, mainly Historical Romance novels. I have more than twelve hundred Romance novels. I also have a growing collection of hard back non-Romance books (Romance novels are best read as paperbacks) and children's books. (I read quite a bit.)
• I also collect quotes. Because I collect quotes, I decided to share my finds with visitors to my site.
