Frank Henderson, Public Relations Staff member, for the Young Marines of Lieutenant Presley O'Bannon, just finished assisting with the 2001 Montford Point Marines convention held in St Louis, Missouri. On Saturday, 21 July 2001 the Guest of Honor for the convention's dinner was General James L Jones, Commandant of the Marine Corps and Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Alford L McMichael.
