There are 94 Squadrons in the Detachment with over 2,900 members. They provide vital support to their sponsoring Posts, the community in which they function, to the children of the state of Missouri and elsewhere and to veterans past and present who service to the nation gave them the opportunity to serve as members of Sons of The American Legion.
