April 2004 Phi Theta Kappa-Missouri Regional Newsletter p3
Phi Theta Kappa and the Missouri Region are looking forward to working with the American Cancer Societys Relay For Life

The Phi District has been challenged by Kim Jarquio Missouri Region Vice-President of Phi District to the Kappa Tau chapter at the Lees Summit North High School in Lees Summit on June 4-5, 2004 from 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. Here is her invitation: I would like to extend an invitation to all chapters on behalf of Kappa Tau Chapter from Longview College.  We will be participating in the Relay For Life, June 4-5th, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.  This will be held at Lee's Summit North High School.

This event proved to be a lot of fun last year.  Lots of talking, walking, laughing, games, snacks, --and very little sleep-- and all for a good cause.

If your chapter would be interested in participating in the Relay for Life (if you don't have one taking place in your area or if you just want to join us), please let me know and I will send more details.  Registrations need to go in by mid April.

Thank you,
Kim Jarquio
Vice President of Phi District

There will be many chapters getting involved in this great event all across the region and we will look forward to hearing how those events went, and when completed we will give everyone a list of just how much money was raised for the American Cancer Society, and the chapters involved.
