Hey, I'm Jen, a 23 y.o. college grad. I have a BA in English and minored in Psychology and Creative Writing. My goal is to one day become an editor for a well-known magazine. Right now, I'm living the life of a domestic goddess, a term for a housewife coined by my sisters-in-law Becky and Jen. I recently left my jobs as a disgruntled Wal-Mart employee and an editorial assistant for a local magazine for love and travel. I got married in March to Joe (see The Wedding link on main page for pictures) who I was with for almost three years prior to the big day. We spent our first married month apart and finally rejoined in Southern Germany (see The Journey for pictures).
I love punk and emo music. Some of my fave bands include Rancid, NoFx, Screeching Weasel, The Weakerthans, Dashboard Confessional, The Promise Ring, The Mr. T Experience, Joydrop, The Beatsteaks and many, many more. I'm a music junkie. |

I also enjoy Indie films. The best movie of all time is The Big Lebowski, hands down. That one's a comedy, and I also like Session 9 (horror) and Buffalo 66 (romance) in addition to many others. I just recently saw Bubba Ho-Tep, a great film about an elderly Elvis impersonator (who believes he really is the King) and an elderly black man who claims he's JFK that battle an ancient mummy who's eating the souls of the people in their retirement home. It's hilarious.
Joe recently came home with a surprise for me...a dalmatian. After a short time of being named Belt (don't ask) Joe named him McGiver after the 80's tv show. He's deaf though. So we've been having tons of fun trying to train him. He's a sweetie though and I love him like crazy!
