| WELCOME ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I have several Pomeranians. There are puppies here a couple times a year. I breed for size and color. My dogs are Orange/White Parti, Black, Wolf & Orange Sable. Have Cream & Chocolate in the lineage. All under 10 pounds. most are around 6. Have had pups that never gut bigger than 4#. Click on page two below left for more information. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I am just a country gal at heart. I think I missed my calling when I was younger though. If I would have known how much I loved being around animals I would have definately lived on a ranch or farm all my life. Right now I have my own version of that farm. I own 10 beautiful acres in Wisconsin. I have acquired quite an array of critters that make my world a very pleasent place to be. Homesteading here is not only a challenge but a treasure. My friend Jean built 16'X20' housing originally for my goats. The Shed/Barn or SHARN as I call it was basically built from all free recycled pallet lumber and other recycled materials that make up the walls, metal roof ,insulation & siding. It's an awsome building that cost less than $800.00 in new lumber and materials. This awsome Sharn has a loft that holds over a hundred large bales of hay. It was originally built for my meat Goats. It has 2 6x6 birthing pens and a common area. An access area that's gated off so I could go in with food and not be trampled. It also has 3 4X4 pens for emergencies and storage. When I had to get my knee replaced in 2003 I had to give up all my goats. I just couldn't keep up to their care. It is now being used for my horse and one new pygmy goat that I have. I used to have a barn yard mix of laying hens for eggs, and fun. I sold them last year to a friend with four children. A friend Jim has 12 bee hives here. I have been known to catch a swarm or two each summer. Thats a trip. A homestead isn't a homestead without cats. I have one of the fattest cats around. There are others that come and go as they get sick or run over. I was on the volunteer fire department here in this little town for 4-5 years. Until I had carotid artery surgery and 2 very scary TIA's shortly afterward (no noticable damage). I quit the Dept. after that, just in case of more artery issues. But have had none since. I do have arthritis though. I don't let it stop me though. I had my right thumb joint replaced in 2002 and my left knee and thumb joint replaced in June, 2003. It was 2004 when I got 2 fillies. I was breaking one of them and got tossed & broke my leg. I sold her and trained the second one (Hershey) to ride the summer of 2005. In 2006 she gave birth to her son. I named him Mr. Sonny GoodBar because his mom's name is Hershey Kisses. I did have him well on the way to being a sweet and friendly horse. I thought I may train him also but didn't figure that would be a real wise idea at my age. I sold him on July 5 2008. It was just to tempting to have him here and not try to train him. I didn't want any more broken bones I sure miss him. Clicker training is faster than any other training method. With much more success and way less stress. Check out the equusite link below to find out more about clicker training.horses. I trained Sonny to play kick ball with the clicker in about an hour. And I trained him to pick up his feet the same way. . I have 3 daughters and 11 grand children. I love it when they come and spend time here. We like to do craft projects. And they like to help me with whatever building project I am doing at the time. I really love my grandkids even the ones I don't get to see much. You will notice my favorite websites have to do with Panda's. I have a small collection of Pandas. I especially like panda products rather than stuffed pandas. I have some great friends. Arnie and Alice. Arnie is an awesome retired horse trainer and Alice is one of the kindest people around. Jean is a master at just about everything he does. He did 90% of the SHARN design and building.. Winnie is a great potter, teacher & all round wonderful person. Roselyn is a teacher, supportive, funny & caring. Dave is a writer who is hoping to get publlished. They are all awesome friends. There are others that I enjoy very much and barter with. If you want to know more about my Poms or just want to chat, watch to see if I am online. And check out page two. Remember "Life by the mile is a trial. Life by the inch is a cinch".
