STUPID POEM #1: The Mower

A fine summer day in mid-June
The birds chirping a cheerful tune
The sun is shining, the sky is blue
I want to go swimming, and Eddy does too

My skimpy new bikini... in the mirror, I stare
Smiling, as I fix my long raven black hair
Grabbing a Little Mermaid towel and my little teddy bear
He always falls in the pool, but today I don't care

Looking through the room for my lucky yellow boat
Through the hardest of times, it would keep me afloat
Threw my things in the back without delay
And before I knew it, teddy was floating away

A buzzing of a bee
Ill familiarity
The noise getting louder
What could it be?

Wandering around to the front of the house
Feeling naked, sneaking around like a mouse
He was dark, his eyes... rotating orbs of black
His sleeves were rolled up, sweat dripping down his back
His arms, bulging from under the sleeve with great mass
Operating the lawn mower with skill and finesse, cutting the grass

"Can you help me, sir?" I politely implore
He nods, a friendly... polite nod... nothing more..
With the swiftness of an eagle, teddy is okay
"Thank you so much!" I happily say

I got in the boat, held Eddy tight and laid down
I definitely did not want him to drown
I put my sunglasses on, and began to fall asleep
And how I slept.. a sleep so deep

When I awoke, it was sweltering hot
I felt like a tomato that had begun to rot
I got in the pool, splashing water on my face
Smelling the chlorine, its essence, its taste

Back in the boat, spreading lotion on myself
My arms, my neck, my legs, my face
Rubbing it around at a medium pace
Spreading it thoroughly, leaving not one trace

I turned to my left and saw him...
Camouflaged, hiding in the trees
Watching me...
Touching my skin
With a sinister grin
A grin full of sin

He stood up, and walked towards me
To touch what he could see
I screamed and ran into the house
Scared as a mouse
And that was the last time I saw him
With that sinister grin...
That grin full of sin.
