| New-born scars I look at him for the first time and wonder who marked this new-born baby, who gave him that blue scar on his cheek? Somebody hurt him. Sense tells me it's impossible, no sharp things in his nine month's cradle. My stomach squeezes and I look closer, his eye lashes make long shadows to cover the vein. |
