The barn is a buzz with all kinds of excitement, come on in and see what all the noise is about. The cows are mooing, the chickens are clucking, the ducks are quacking, the horses are neighing, the pigs are oinking, the sheep are baaing, and the rosters are crowing. Why are they all making so much noise? Let's take a peek and see what's going on...... Well, will you look at that, I don't believe it! Right in the midst of the barn is the source of all the excitement. Shh, let's be very quiet as we get a closer look at what's going on..... It's a new addition to the barn, born just this very afternoon. Happy Birthday Little Baby!

Aww, isn't it cute, a baby, but what kind of baby is it that would have the barn in such an uproar? Oh no!! It's a baby snake! Look out, the mama can't be far away. What are we going to do? Think about the situation, what would you do about the baby snake? How would you move it? Why can't we leave the snake in the barn? Think about what you would do with the snake, would you call someone to come and get it, or would you try to move the snake yourself? Remember, you have to figure out what kind of snake it is first, you don't want to get biten. Where would a snake like to live? Draw a picture of the baby snake in it's new home.
